FAQs

An Exclusion is a term commonly used in the wildlife/ pest control industries. Animal exclusion is the process of using barriers to keep animals from accessing resources or entering a space. It's a method of wildlife damage management that's considered humane, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.

After the entire exclusion process is complete, there will be no more entry points for a bat to enter your home.

We typically leave the Bat Cones installed for up to 4 weeks. This ensures all the bats are able to leave before we seal up the entry. We never want to trap animals inside of your home.

Once the nuisance wildlife animals have been removed, we will perform the proper exclusion. Then we will be able to complete any cleanup and insulation repairs needed. This ensures that the cleanup and new insulation won't be damaged again.

It's not uncommon to hear activity the first couple weeks after an exclusion is performed. Depending on the targeted animal, like Bats, for example, we narrowed down many entry points to just one or two where we have installed a Bat Eviction Cone. So they need time to be properly evicted.

Every house is different. So It's almost impossible to be able to tell how long it will take. We may take longer than other companies because we want to make sure every area is properly sealed. We will also use various methods and premium materials to ensure our exclusion won't alter the look of your home. In some cases, additional trips are needed.

We offer a variety of different warranty options and the ability to renew your warranty annually. So you can have peace of mind if anything happens. Unfortunately, if bats re-enter your home after your warranty has expired, we will schedule another inspection to evaluate the situation and provide an additional estimate.

We require a deposit to add you to the schedule. This ensures we are able to get all of the materials needed for your service.

Due to the nature of our business, we are dealing with wildlife. We are not able to force animals into the cages. If trapping is unsuccessful we try other methods to evict the animal from your home. We charge for providing a service not based on animals caught.

Yes, we require a deposit that is nonrefundable. The deposit will guarantee your spot on the schedule and is used for ordering the correct materials for the job. The deposit may vary depending on the service being provided.

We always monitor the cages ourselves. We remove the captured animals within 24 hours, as this is our time frame per DEC. We provide animals with shelter from weather conditions and food supplies. We have also incorporated cellular cameras into our trapping service to see real-time notifications and to monitor animal activity and cages.

Because we don't know how long other inspections and jobs will take, we are not always able to provide an exact time. We try to provide a 2-3 hour time frame in most cases. We always respect our customers' schedules and will do our best to accommodate what works best for you.

A bat cone is a tube that allows bats to be evicted from your home without being able to re-enter. This is accompanied by an exclusion.
